Our family of products is
based on a new approach: Education,
Entertainment and Excitement. But most importantly it
is an alternative to all hatred and brutality generating
computer games. All products of 9Isles International
Inc. will be both educational and violence free.
After the
great success of the earlier releases of the Aerobeak
Series, 9Isles proudly introduces to the public its
new exceptional educational and violence free game for
Pocket PCs, Desktop PCs. Soon also it will be available
for Smartphones, Symbian and Palm platforms the "Educational
Edition of Aerobeak Goes on a Ride" for kids, youths
and adults.
This new edition
features a whole new magical world of the mystical "Ninth
Island". The Educational Edition has, besides its outstanding
educational value, tons of new fun, beautiful new settings
with secret lagoons, sizzling hot lava fields, new magical
characters and new sound tracks. Furthermore, this edition
has new features never seen before, such as the challenging
game-in-a-game edition known as the "Milestone Games,"
"AeroOOOPS" and "Knowledge Wheels." Soon 9Isles will
introduce its brand new web site called the "Knowledge
Room," which also includes "Aerobeak's Treasure Chest."
Here the participants of the game can exchange their
very own "Knowledge Wheels" for special surprises, like
stories, beautiful pictures of scenic Hawaii or legends
of Polynesia. Furthermore the new web site also includes
a "Writers Forum," where the company invites poets and
authors globally to speak out with the strength of their
literary work against violence and for World Peace.
In addition,
the game features more educational functions (more topics
and questions in the areas of geography, history, literature,
science and environment) Multi-language support, left
hand/right hand support, kids/youth/adult options at
the difficulty levels have been developed.
Another benefit
of these functions is to increase children's eye and
hand coordination with the "drawing challenge", which
is part of the kids "Milestone Games". They can easily
acquire "computer proficiencies, such as how to differentiate
between different forms and outlines, animals or plants.
The game also teaches children fast reaction skills
and how to deal with multiple task challenges.
The "Blue Star of Peace" - The Aerobeak Story
The new Educational
Edition of the Aerobeak Series is based on the story
"Blue Star of Peace" written by Jutka T. Emoke Barabas.
9Isles invites its customers into the enchanted world
of a mystical archipelago called the Ninth Island, which
is the symbol of the extraordinary and peaceful "Hawaiian
Model." Since Hawaii was discovered by Captain James
Cook in 1778, the people of Hawaii have proved that
many different nationalities and people with different
religious and cultural backgrounds can live together
in peaceful co-existence. This unique model inspired
the core Aerobeak Story, the story of the Blue Star
of Peace.
The Ninth
Island is a mystical parallel world to the Hawaiian
Islands, where the inhabitants, despite their magical
powers, are living under an ancient spell. They are
striving to reunite with their ancestral home by eliminating
hatred and violence not just in their own world, but
also in the parallel "human" world. Merton the dolphin
wizard describes their way of life and their mission
in the story of the Blue Star of Peace, (this is the
pilot story of the Aerobeak Series and many more will
follow) which happens to parallel the mission of the
company 9Isles. "I can just tell you how long the spell
is going to last," replied Merton after a long pause.
"Until this, our host planet, no longer has war and
violence between people, we are banished here, like
mystical castaways and we cannot go home to our Blue
Star of Peace. Most of us are the last guardians of
the lost Peace of the Universe. Our task is to teach
humans how to be good, how to save their fragile environment,
how to rescue their own planet, how to honor all creatures
great and small, how to live in peace, how to forgive
and how to fight inhumanity, how to reach out to each
other in goodwill and break the chain of hatred in their
very own hearts. When all this is reached, the peaceful
times, which the Australian Aborigines describe as the
"dream era," will return and a new chance will dawn
for all human beings to turn their own planet into the
Blue Star of Peace".
Characters in the game
Aerobeak, a clumsy
but loveable parrot is another mystical resident of
the Ninth Island archipelago.. Aerobeak believes, that
he is a descendant of mythological birds of Africa.
He is actually also a wizard, but he is too inept at
controlling his magical powers. He is an artist and
his real name is Squeaky Manu. Manu is a Polynesian
word and means plain "bird". But he wants to be called
Aerobeak. He has many talents and definitely is a great
character, but between us, Aerobeak is delightfully
wacky and clumsy most of the time. His wizards friends
wonder how on earth he always gets in so much trouble.
Aerobeak loves to go out for a bike ride to discover
new places and many adventures. These times are full
of mischief and excitement. However, this always turns
out to be a treacherous undertaking. Aerobeak should
know that a bird is not created to ride a bike, especially
with a wiki wiki (a Hawaiian word for fast) type
personality like his and with the poor control of his
magical abilities.. In the game, you, the participant,
become his guardian. You are in control. When you use
your own "magical skills" like knowledge and skilfullness
, not only Aerobeak, but also you are going to be a
winner!
Theodore
is a soft-spoken immigrant from Greece. Theodore is
not native to the Ninth Island. He is a Greek land turtle.
But because he came from another legendary island in
the Mediterranean, he was welcomed as a new friend.
Because not even the wizards could pronounce his name,
he changed it to Theodore Honu. Honu is Hawaiian
word for turtle. This made him a kamaaina, a
permanent resident of Hawaii, which is the beautiful
"human" parallel archipelago of the Ninth Island. Theodore
is Aerobeak's best friend and he always accompanies
him on his journeys. Naturally at his own risk. He is
a peaceful hang loose (laid back) type of guy, who enjoys
relaxing at the beach with his favorite kind of drink,
whether it be a Blue Hawaii or a Marguerita. After a
hard day's work, he meets there for a little chat with
his distant relatives; the Pacific Green Sea Turtles,
like Tattatou. Theodore owns a castle. Some tourist,
a malihini worked on this sand creation for hours,
getting terribly sunburned. When he left the beach,
Theodore moved right in. His address is……but on the
other hand, he wants to remain private. When you need
more time for the game, choose him as your helper.
Pupulala
is a very wise old lady. She is a native Hawaiian wizard.
Her nick name Pupulala gives us a hunch that she belongs
to the pupu snail family. But her boss calls
her Pupu Kanioe. She is still working and lives in the
rain forest, so she doesn't have to spend long hours
commuting. Pupulala thinks retirement would be boring
and she is entitled to her beliefs. She loves to eat
chocolate, play bridge with her old friends and shop
at Ala Moana Shopping Center. Pupulala has also something
very special - a magic power…not because she is working
for the State, but because a very long time ago, she
met a handsome pearl shell man, the magical oyster Uhimomi
and he gave her a pair of gorgeous pearl glasses makaaniani
to wear. Pupulala is a little bit near sighted. These
glasses have turned out to have a magical touch. They
especially work against the evil spirit of Fufu and
so she can help you to answer the questions or the puzzles.
Fufu
is a bad dude. Nobody likes him. He is a vicious descendant
of the legendary dragon snake.and a serial killer. Fufu's
real name is Fufurissimo Naheka. Naheka means
snake. He was bad news when he turned up in Hawaii.
He managed to fly in as a blind passenger and now, a
high reward is posted for his capture….alive. Fufu loves
to gamble and wants to visit his relatives in Las Vegas.
But because he's never able to save enough money for
an air ticket, Fufu is always on the hunt for Aerobeak.
He wants to sell his beautiful feathers to a feather
hokulei maker. He snarles as he says he thinks
Aerobeak would look best on a hat, and, as a fringe
benefit to him, he could get a free trip to Vegas. Fufu
is on the most wanted list. He is a hardcore criminal
and he is not just furious but he is a pathological
bird murderer. The only respect he has is for Neffy
and for her magical horn. So be warned, Fufu is vicious!!!!!
Neffy,
the Cuckoo bird, who came from a mysterious valley in
the Swiss alps to teach goodness to people in far away
places. Neffy herself is a creature with powers that
reach far beyond those of a common bird. One day she
left her home, a magcal Swiss cuckoo clock, for good
to look for adventure and some changes in her life.
She wanted to visit a school abroad to learn something
and to be useful to others.
She took only a small suitcase for her big journey half
way around the world in addition to her favorite musical
instrument, the huge Swiss alpenhorn, which caused a
big commotion on the flight over.
She moved into a small but friendly motel on the beach
and soon she became a good friend with Aerobeak and
Pupulala. But now she has a job on a big cruise liner
that travels around the Ninth Island archipelago. She
even was able to get a partime job on the ship for Aerobeak.
She is an
outspoken and resolute women, so Fufu has to watch out
when Neffy keeps a watchful eye on Aerobeak. Fufu has
no chance against her. When he threatens Aerobeak, Neffy
just frightens him away with her alpenhorn. So choose
Neffy as your help when you want to get rid of Fufu..
PuffRuff,
the poisonous puffer fish wizard is also a real mean
character, just like Fufu. He is kind of a bully and
he thinks that personally he owns the Blue Coral Lagoon
and the Lagoon of the "Mystery Ship" so he is nasty
to almost everyone who visits "his" territory. PuffRuff
has not a lot of friends and sometimes is a real troublemaker.
Some centuries ago, a mortal man discovered a well-guarded
secret of the "Mystery Ship", and he had written the
legend on parchment because he wanted to take this incredible
knowledge with him back to his home. Unfortunately,
his ship arrived in a terrible tempest, and it sank
to the bottom of the lagoon. This is now known as The
Lagoon of the Mystery Ship. PuffRuff, who is also a
native of the Ninth Island, faithfully guards this ship
that rests, broken, in its dark watery grave. He just
moved naturally without a permit into this mysterious
sunken ship/. And he found some more pretty interesting
secrets in the belly of the Galleon. Will he ever tell
us about these secrets? Wait and see!
The new characters in the
Educational Edition of the Aerobeak Series
Kaimi the gecko wizard
fiercely guards the secrets of the Ninth Island, and
he is a good friend to all.
TentUlla
is a native of Tahiti, and a very kind and gentle magical
octopus.
Kekoa
the shark is a descendant of the legendary shark gods.
His name means: 'the brave one" in the Hawaiian language.
He is not as vicious as everybody thinks. Even though
he is a loyal guardian he often shows his short temper
to strangers.
Tattatou,
the mystical green sea tortoise is a good buddy of Theodore.
They often visit the bars of the other islands, disguised
as shipyard workers, and reminisce over a couple of
margaritas.
Some inhabitants
of the Ninth Island archipelago look or act nasty, such
as DiliBully known also as Don Armadillo
from Mexico, just because he wants to kid around. His
ancestors were powerful Aztec wizards, but he plays
a clown role and so DiliBully is more or less just a
harmless fool. But the eternal fight between good and
evil keeps its spell on the Ninth Island. In this power
struggle, humans play an important role, and they are
going to decide finally the fate of the island and its
inhabitants.
Merton,
is a proud inhabitant. and a gracious dolphin wizard
of the mystical Ninth Island, and he is usually called
respectfully 'The Messenger' by everyone. It seems that
he still has contact with the distant past to the ancestral
home of the Ninth Island. But the inhabitants do not
like to speak about this to strangers, because this
is their most treasured secret.
